NeoCon® 2010: Arcadia Adopts ‘Grass is Greener’ Tone, Contest

14 June, 2010

It’s important to remember that there’s always a bright side, according to Arcadia, which is basing its NeoCon® 2010 showroom concept on a “grass is greener” theme. The space, which features a varied green palette of upholstered products, faux grass area rugs, and themed signage and wall artwork, aims to highlight the contract furniture manufacturer’s products as life-enhancing solutions.

“Our giveaway is a little ‘grow-your-own-grass’ kit,” says Helen H. Kim, director of marketing for Arcadia. “It’s a little tongue-in-cheek to bring some whimsy and fun into the show.”

Along with providing an oasis for event attendees to relax and unwind, Arcadia invites attendees to share their own “grass is greener” moment online at Arcadia’a exhibitor page at My.NeoCon.com. Users can anonymously post their own green moment and view submissions from their colleagues. One anecdote on the page reads, “Taking the leap of faith and moving across the country to Denver. I haven't looked back—it was the best decision we've made so far. While the grass might not literally be greener in Denver, it certainly is in my world.”

Additionally, Arcadia invites NeoCon® attendees to enter for the chance to win one of five, life-enhancing prizes—a Sony VAIO notebook, a $500 Spa Wish gift card, a $500 Fairway Rewards gift card, an Amazon Kindle and $200 Kindle gift card, or a Nikon Digital SRL camera—by logging in to their My.NeoCon.com account and indicating the prize item that they would most like to win. Attendees will be automatically entered when scanned at the Arcadia showroom.

Winners will be chosen by random drawing and notified on or before June 18. Full rules and restrictions are available at my.neocon.com/exhibitors/arcadia

Arcadia will host a cocktail party in its showroom (Space No. 340) for NeoCon® attendees tonight (June 14) from 5 to 7 pm.
