Kasper Salto and Thomas Sigsgaard will curate Danish Crafts’ 2013 exhibition, MINDCRAFT13, at Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Italy. The duo will select participants for the sixth MINDCRAFT, which highlights and promotes a selection of Denmark’s most talented contemporary craftspeople and designers.
“In MINDCRAFT13 we want to focus on the thoughts and influences that led to the works,” the designers say. “Giving the visitors insight into the creative process can be inspiring and make the exhibition a much greater experience.”
Salto & Sigsgaard have participated in Danish Crafts’ Saloni exhibitions in the past, and contributed their wall-mounted Yellow Fin light fixture in MINDCRAFT10 and the pendant lamp Wet Bell in in MINDCRAFT09. Wet Bell is currently in production by Italian lighting company Nemo Cassina.
