Tile of Spain, the international brand umbrella for 125 ceramic tile manufacturers belonging to the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturer's Association (ASCER), has launched its "Passport to Creativity" competition for architects and interior designers for a chance to win a trip to Spain.
Contest winners will take part in a free trip to Spain to participate in architectural excursions that will earn 4.5 CEU credits. The "Passport to Creativity" includes opportunities for Spanish culture immersion, sampling the country's culinary offerings, site visits of architectural significance, and a tile factory tour. The trip will culminate at Cevisama 2013, the International Ceramic Tile and Bath Furnishing Show in Valencia, Spain.
To enter, designers are asked to submit a photograph of themselves holding a sample of Spanish tile, a product catalog, or a photo of Spanish tile. A project in which the designer specified Spanish tile is also sufficient, provided he or she is included in the image frame. Designers must be accredited with current affiliation with AIA, ASID, IIDA, or similar professional organization. Entries will be accepted through December 3, and winners will be notified within the week of December 10.
