More and more, the commercial design community plays a leadership role in furthering global efforts for social responsibility. In response to these accomplishments, and true to our mission of inspiring commercial design solutions, Contract magazine presents its third annual Inspiration Awards in 2011, sponsored by Tandus Flooring.
Submissions are evaluated in two categories—Projects (completed) and Practice (cause-related efforts)—by a professional A&D panel of judges, which includes: Marsha Maytum, FAIA, LEED AP, founding partner, Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects; Neil P. Frankel, FAIA, FIIDA, professor, University of Wisconsin School of Architecture & Urban Planning, and principal, Frankel + Coleman; and Susan Piedmont-Palladino, professor, Washington Alexandria Architecture Center College of Architecture and Urban Studies, Virginia Tech.
