Seattle-based Callison has been selected by Northern Nevada Urban Development Company, LLC as the lead designer of a new downtown mixed-use development in Reno, Nevada. The multi-block plan includes destination retail, entertainment, hospitality, residential and office components.

"This project is a wonderful opportunity to redefine Reno," says Steve Dwoskin, principal at Callison. "The development will expand on the city's current hotel, gaming and entertainment core to create a dynamic mix of retail, dining and residential uses that will appeal to both tourists and local residents."

Northern Nevada Urban Development Company, LLC owns property in downtown Reno proximate to Interstate 80, the University of Nevada and the city's event and entertainment core. The City of Reno's Redevelopment Agency recently entered into an agreement with the company to explore the feasibility of the city's assistance in the financing of the mixed-use project.
