The New School, located in New York City, has announced that Bruce
Nussbaum, one of the leading thinkers and writers about the
intersections of innovation and design, has been appointed
visiting professor of innovation and design. He will work broadly
across The New School, with a faculty "home base" in the School of
Design Strategies at Parsons, The New School for Design, which
houses degree programs in design and management, integrated design,
and environmental studies.
BBG-BBGM has announced that Marc Hochlerin, will join the firm as
principal of strategic planning. In this role, he will oversee
BBG-BBGM's client services division and overall business
development, marketing, and public relations strategy
worldwide.
HGA Architects and Engineers has promoted Jessie Robertson to
senior associate. As the director of business development for the
firm's LA office, Robertson has more than 15 years of experience in
marketing professional services within the architecture and
engineering community.
Allsteel has expanded its sales and management teams with two new
hires. James Carlyle joins the workplace furnishings company as the
national manager of higher education, responsible for supporting
field sales members and dealers across the nation to drive growth
in the higher education market. Carlyle is based in Atlanta.
Allsteel also has broadened its Canadian sales force with the
hiring of Stacey Coleman as an A&D specialist, based in
Toronto.
L2M, a Baltimore-based architecture and foodservice design firm
with expertise in retail, travel & leisure, and health care
design, has announced its expansion into the city of Lebanon, Ohio,
a northern suburb of Cincinnati.
Peter Morrison, CEO of RMJM, the global architecture and design
firm, has been appointed to the corporate board of the Scottish
North American Business Council (SNABC). RMJM's global headquarters
are in Edinburgh, Scotland. The U.S. headquarters are in New York
City.
Haworth has appointed Walter Cousineau as senior architecture and
design (A&D) market manager for the Los Angeles Region. In this
position, Cousineau will market Haworth's various product lines and
organic workspace concept to Los Angeles design firms.
