Lonseal Earns Three New Standardization Certifications

Lonseal, Inc. announced that it has received three coveted international certifications,  Lonseal's resilient flooring products are now certified according to ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001:2000 and 14001:2004, as well as the AS9100:2004 from the Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG).

"Quality, sustainability and service are the cornerstones of our business," says Takashi Abe, president and CEO for Lonseal. "We are thrilled to be recognized as a reputable provider of products that meet the highest standards upheld by these certifications and governing organizations. These certifications are a tremendous testament to Lonseal's overarching commitment to excellence, and they speak strongly of this to our customers."

Following a comprehensive audit of Lonseal's facilities' quality-related processes, including manufacturing and business practices, the company demonstrated an effective, systematic approach to ensuring environmentally friendly processes and practices, as well as quality products and services. Their new certifications cover the following standards:  

ISO 14001:2004 -- sets forth requirements for environmental management systems, and recognizes Lonseal's commitment to sustainable processes and design practices.

ISO 9001:2000 – upholds global standards for customer satisfaction in supplier-customer relationships, and credits Lonseal's continual improvement in quality assurance.

Lonseal has also achieved a similar certification specific to the aviation industry. The AS9100:2004 from the IAQG strives to make significant improvements in quality and reductions in cost throughout the international aerospace industry, and the standard incorporates the ISO 9001:2000 standard plus additional requirements for quality management systems in the aerospace industry.
