The 2015 student competition for the Lyceum Traveling Fellowship in Architecture has launched. The program, which is open to students from any accredited school of architecture in the United States and Canada, aims to advance the architecture profession by engaging students in design and travel.
Charles Renfro (pictured), AIA, partner at Diller Scofidio + Renfro, is the author and jury chair for the competition’s 30th anniversary. The program’s brief, Rejuvenation, addresses the challenges of the aging by seeking new solutions for senior living and urban invention.
Joining Renfro on the jury are Matthias Hollwich, SBA, co-founder HWKN; Carol Willis, founder and director, The Skyscraper Museum; Randy Morton, AIA, principal, director of HKS Urban Design Studio; and Joseph Sziabowski, AIA, principal, Hardaway Associates Architects and save document board director, The Lyceum Fellowship.
