AIA Elevates 139 Members to College of Fellows

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) has elevated 139 members to its College of Fellows, an honor awarded to members who have made significant contributions to the profession.

The program was developed to recognize architects who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession, and contributed to architecture and society on a national level.

AIA has a total membership of more than 83,000, and only 3,100 of those members have been elevated to the College of Fellows.

This year's Fellows will be honored at a ceremony at the 2014 National AIA Convention and Design Exposition in Chicago. Among the honorees is Contract's 2013 Designer of the Year Joey Shimoda.
