The American Society of Interior Designers
(ASID) has announced its 2014 board of directors, which assumed office October 1. Rachelle Schoessler Lynn, FASID, a senior associate with Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle in Minneapolis and a member of Contract
magazine’s advisory board, serves as president.
“Laser-focused on pursuing the goals of our strategic plan, we are investing in research, evidence-based programming, and building relationships with our industry partners,” Schoessler Lynn said in a statement. “Equally important, we are placing a priority on helping members compete in a global marketplace and furthering the discussion about interior design’s impact on the human experience.”
As ASID’s governing body, the 11-member volunteer board meets quarterly to provide strategic direction on the industry and profession, set policy, and act on behalf of the overall membership.
In addition to Schoessler Lynn, the 2014 board of directors includes:
