ASID Foundation Invites Applicants for Its 2013 Scholarships and Awards

10 February, 2013

-By Staff

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Foundation has announced details of its 2013 awards and scholarships program and an application deadline of April 15. The no-fee program, an ASID tradition since 1975, is open to interior design students of all levels and both ASID member and nonmember professionals. This year's five prizes total $23,000 in funds and scholarships:

The Irene Winifred Eno Grant provides financial assistance to either an individual or group engaged in creating an educational program or research project for interior design centered on health, safety, and welfare.

The Joel Polsky Academic Achievement Award recognizes an outstanding interior design thesis or research project by a graduate or undergrad student.

The Joel Polsky Prize honors literary or visual communication that has greatly contributed to interior design academia.

And Legacy Scholarships are awarded to an undergraduate student based on an exceptional portfolio in either the junior or senior year of study, and an accomplished graduate student enrolled in or accepted into a degree-granting interior design program.

Contact the ASID Foundation at 202-546-3480 or foundation@asid.org for more information.
