The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt has launched in New York City, with more than 260 large egg sculptures on public display from renowned architects, artists, designers, and brands. Grimshaw, Morphosis, Roger Ferris, and Zaha Hadid are among the architects invited to design signature works, which average two-and-a-half-feet tall and appear throughout the five boroughs through April 17. All pieces will be exhibited at Rockefeller Center April 18-25.
Limited-edition mini replica eggs, a corresponding storybook, and related merchandise are available at Saks Fifth Avenue, various pop-up locations, and online at TheBigEggHunt.org. The egg hunt culminates in live and online auctions of select sculptures. Sale proceeds will benefit two nonprofits, Elephant Family and Studio in the School.
