More and more, the commercial design community plays a leadership role in furthering global efforts for social responsibility. In response to these accomplishments, and true to our mission of inspiring commercial design solutions, Contract Magazine, in partnership with Tandus Flooring, presents the fifth annual Inspirations Awards. Through a holistic view, the Contract Inspirations Awards recognize commitment to social responsibility in commercial interior architecture:
Implementing design and/or design skills to improve the quality of life for those in need.
There are two categories for entries, one for completed built projects in commercial interiors (any project type other than residential), and one for a practice-based initiative.
NOTE: Both paid/commissioned work, as well as pro bono work is eligible for entry.
A $5,000 grant will be awarded to the cause supported by the work in the built project category.
A $1,000 grant will be awarded to the cause supported by the work in the practice-based initiative category.
Additional $1,000 grants and honorable mentions may be awarded at the jury’s discretion.
