The Jasper Group and Jofco recently concluded merger negotiations to combine operations, which has been under investigation since October 2012. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“We were very pleased with the findings from the discovery process,” says Mike Elliot, president and CEO of the Jasper Group. “We move into the transition phase now, which will include some corporate logistical changes, sharing of ideas, and cross-functional communication to drive the new corporate synergy.”
All brands will maintain operations with existing sales teams, field sales teams, and customer service. Jofco will continue its partnership with Frezza in the U.S. Current avenues of distribution, brand identities, and target markets will also remain intact.
Together, Jasper Group and Jofco have more than 1.6 million square feet of manufacturing space and 800 employees.
