Matt Schad has succeeded his father, Tim Schad, as CEO of Nucraft Furniture Company in Comstock Park, Michigan, the move represents the fourth generation of family leadership of the 70-year-old office furniture manufacturer.
The younger Schad joined Nucraft 10 years ago, most recently serving as director of marketing and business development. Prior to that, he worked as an anti-trust attorney in Washington, D.C. Bob Bockheim, president and COO, will continue in his executive management position during the CEO transition.

“Bob’s leadership has been outstanding as he has doubled the size of the company through new products and greater brand recognition,” said Tim Schad, who will retain his role as Nucraft’s chairman of the board, said in a statement.
Added Matt: “I am so pleased that I will be able to continue to learn from Bob Bockheim and my father as we make this transition in family leadership over the next several years. I have been a part of Bob’s executive team for the last five years and I know first-hand that they are top notch.”
