This summer, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) will host its first major exhibition on the multi-disciplinary works of Le Corbusier, born Charles-Édouard Jeanneret (1887-1965). Le Corbusier: An Atlas of Modern Landscapes will be on view in the Joan and Preston Robert Tisch Gallery on the museum’s sixth floor, from June 9 to September 23.

Organized by guest curator and modern architecture scholar Jean-Louis Cohen, the exhibition will feature various selections of Le Corbusier's works as an architect, interior designer, artist, city planner, writer, and photographer to reveal ways in which the designer observed and imagined landscapes throughout his career. His watercolors of Italy, Greece, and Turkey; sketches of India; photographs from his formative journeys; and models of his large-scale projects combined will make An Atlas of Modern Landscapes the largest Le Corbusier exhibition ever produced in New York.
