Conant Architects, led by former IIDA president Peter Conant, has been acquired by Vocon, an architecture, interior design, and graphic design firm.
"We are immensely excited about this marriage of two leading firms," Conant said in a statement. "[Vocon] shares Conant Architects' beliefs and values about the importance of relationships and outstanding design."
Conant founded Conant Architects in 2000, and served as the president of IIDA from 2011 to 2012. He was inducted into the IIDA College of Fellows in 2012.
Conant will serve as principal of Vocon's New York office, located at 315 Madison Avenue.
