The Washington Metro City Center of the IIDA Mid-Atlantic Chapter will honor excellence in local interior design at the Premiere Design Awards ceremony on April 15. A jury of designers from outside the Mid-Atlantic Chapter judges the winning entries based on criteria such as originality of design, sustainability, potential community impact, interior furnishings, and use of color.
Known as the Premiere, the awards ceremony will take place at the Harman Center for the Arts in Washington, D.C. John Dickson, dean of Students at the Corcoran College of Art & Design, will serve as the evening’s emcee.
