IIDA and Contract Announce NeoCon 2016 Showroom and Booth Winners
The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and Contract magazine have announced the winners of the 21st annual Showroom and Booth Design Competition at this year’s NeoCon.
“This annual competition challenges designers and manufacturers to create a unique experience that educates and entertains in limited space,” says IIDA executive vice president and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP. “The winning showrooms and booths at this year’s competition were not only visually stunning, but they created a lasting impression on attendees—illustrating a true celebration of design. We congratulate the firms and manufacturers for their outstanding showroom and booth designs at NeoCon 2016.”
Winners were chosen based on originality in design, visual appeal, effective use of materials, and remarkable use of color, texture, lighting, and graphics. The jury panel included Rebecca Dorris Steiger, IIDA, of ZGF; Peggy Hoffmann, IIDA, of FGM Architects; Valerie Jardon, IIDA, from Box Studios; Jill Lee, IIDA, from Buffalo Design; Wendi Reynolds-Donahue, IIDA, of Nashville Office Interiors; and Amy Todd, IIDA, of Bostwick Design Partnership.
