Tarkett and Bentley Win IIDA/Contract Magazine Booth Designs Awards at NeoCon East
The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) has named the winners of the 11th annual IIDA/Contract Magazine Booth Designs Awards at NeoCon East 2016 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
“We were impressed with the creative use of design elements—light, materials, and graphics—among contest entrants as manufacturers were challenged to make the most of limited booth space booth at NeoCon East,” says IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP. “Both Tarkett and Bentley successfully showcased their brands and product offerings through the outstanding and original use of design.”

Tarkett was named as the winner in the Large Booth category—comprising booths in excess of 400 square feet—with a design from Suzanne Tick. Bentley won in the small booth category, featuring a design from Bentley Mills.

Winners were selected based on originality of design, visual impact, effective use of materials, and outstanding use of color, space, texture, lighting, and graphics. This year’s jury panel included Ginger Gilden, IIDA, senior designer and associate for IA Interior Architects; Paul Lewandowski, IIDA, design principal for Lavallee Brensinger Architects; and Jessie Santini, IIDA, interior designer with RLPS Interiors.
