The International Interior Design Association of Northern California (IIDA NC) held its 12th annual Honor Awards last week, recognizing the area's wide array of design talent. 95 different projects were submitted for consideration this year and 18 of them were awarded.

The 2016 jury included Julie Gauthier of Lauck Group in Houston, Will Meyer of Meyer Davis in New York, Diana Pisone of Ted Moudis in Chicago, Pablo Quintana from VOA of Washington DC, and Alissa Wehmueller from Helix of Kansas City.

“Every year, we are amazed by the number of projects submitted and the caliber of work coming from Northern California’s top talent,” says Fae Urban, president of the IIDA NC. “One of our goals is to inspire the future designers of tomorrow and there is no doubt this event inspires us all to create our best work when designing the spaces where we live, work, and play.”

The 2016 IIDA NC winners are:
