IIDA and Contract Announce NeoCon 2018 Showroom and Booth Winners

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) has announced the winners of the 23rd annual Showroom and Booth Design Competition at NeoCon 2018. Steelcase took home two awards this year including Best of Competition for its space designed by Shimoda Design Group.

Winners were chosen based on originality in design, visual appeal, effective use of materials, and remarkable use of color, texture, lighting, and graphics. This year’s jury panel included Monika Avery, IIDA, NCIDQ, principal, S/L/A/M Collaborative Inc.; Christina Brown, NCIDQ, principal, Eastlake Studio; Arthur Garcia-Clemente, IIDA, NCIDQ, interior designer, Partners by Design; and Susanne Molina, FIIDA, CID, principal, ONE design collective.

This year’s winners are:

Large Showrooms – 4,000 sq. ft. or larger: Steelcase

Small Showroom – Under 4,000 sq. ft.: Scandinavian Spaces

Best of Competition Award: Steelcase
