Winners of the IIDA Best Interiors of Latin America & the Caribbean 2015

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) has announced the winners of its 3rd annual Best Interiors of Latin America & the Caribbean competition.

Founded in 2012, the awards honor the highest level of creativity and design excellence in interior design and architecture projects throughout their eponymous regions.

“The projects that were submitted to the competition were second to none and reflect the high standard of design in Latin America and the Caribbean Islands,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst. “IIDA and Alessi congratulate all of the winners on this wonderful accomplishment.”

This year’s jury included Arturo Febry, IIDA, principal of IA Interior Architects; Marlene Liriano, IIDA, vice president and director of interior design at HOK; and James Slade, IIDA, AIA, principal at Slade Architecture.

“The entries we received were incredible with a high attention to detail and design,” said Febry. “They reflected many of the cultural nuances and history of Latin America and the Caribbean, which make the regions so unique. We were all greatly impressed by the submissions.”
