TPG Architecture Announces New Creative Director

Avery Miyasato Handy has been announced as the new creative director of New York-based architecture and design practice TPG Architecture. The announcement arrives on the heels of several leadership changes at the firm as it continues to expand its portfolio and profile in the industry. The firm also recently appointed Bette Samuel, Albert Thompson, Mavis Wiggins, and Contract’s 2017 Designer of the Year Suzette Subance Ferrier as managing executives.

An industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in architecture and design, Handy will oversee the execution of workplace projects from conception to completion. He has served as lead project designer and design director for numerous projects in corporate, retail, and hospitality arenas. Former clients include, Esteé Lauder, AIG, KPMG, Sports Illustrated, Citi Field, and Time Warner Cable. Handy has also worked as a judge for the International Interior Design Association’s Asia Pacific Design Awards.
