U.S. State Department Reveals 26-Firm Shortlist for International Embassy Project

The Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) branch of the U.S. State Department has revealed its shortlist of 26 firms considered to design and maintain embassy facilities worldwide. More than 130 submissions were received for the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Worldwide Design Services solicitation. The next stage of the process will require the shortlisted firms to assemble technical teams and craft a presentation highlighting past projects, team management, and quality control plans. An interview with the OBO will also be required.
