Mayer Fabrics + Sunbrella: WonderlustSeptember 4, 2018
Mayer Fabrics’ new collection Wonderlust is inspired by the travels and collections of architect and designer Alexander Girard. Created in collaboration with the Museum of International Folk Art, the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, and Sunbrella, the collection brings the culture of global folk art into commercial spaces through textiles. The patterns are influenced by Girard’s appreciation for the arts and his collection of more than 100,000 masks, dolls, ceramics, textiles, toys, and fine art. The textiles have a playful, whimsical feel and are available in 44 colorways.
